Signing in
- Server is the address your administrator gave you, for example
192.168.1.20:4000orhttps://comms.example.com. - Accounts are created by your administrator. Password resets go through them too.
- Signing in on a second device signs the first one out.
Talking and listening
- Dial: tap talk keys on the top ring to arm them, then hold the centre button to talk. Tap the centre instead for continuous talk, and tap again to stop.
- Grid: hold TALK for push-to-talk, or tap it to latch.
- Listen: tap keys on the bottom ring, or the LISTEN button in the grid. Set volumes in the mixer.
- VOX: in Settings, turn on VOX and set the threshold. Your administrator decides which keys can use it.
No audio?
- Allow microphone access: Settings, then BCComms, then Microphone.
- Check the MIC meter moves while you speak, and that the key you are listening to shows LISTEN.
- If other people can't hear you, check your key is armed or held, and that the server's media ports are open on the network. Your administrator can see connection status in the web console.
